Volleyball Game Preview: De La Salle Meteors vs. Marmion Cadets

The De La Salle Meteors will venture away from home to face off against the Marmion Cadets at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. De La Salle is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

On Thursday, De La Salle came up short against DePaul College Prep and fell 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-17.

Meanwhile, Marmion narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Waubonsie Valley 2-1.

Marmion is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-17 record this season. As for De La Salle, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

De La Salle couldn't quite get it done against Marmion in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Meteors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
