Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clarendon). They breezed by the Highland Park Hornets to the tune of 97-16 on Friday. Given the Broncos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 55th, while the Hornets are ranked 1276th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clarendon is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Highland Park, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-10.

Clarendon will face off against Memphis at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland Park, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Panhandle at 6:30 p.m. Panhandle's defense has only allowed 28.4 points per game this season, so Highland Park's offense will have their work cut out for them.
