Volleyball Recap: Hazlehurst Comes Up Short

Hazlehurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Jefferson County Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Monday.

Hazlehurst's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Jefferson County, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hazlehurst will challenge Mendenhall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Jefferson County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Pike at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
