Volleyball Recap: Centerville Extends Winning Streak to Three

Centerville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Beavercreek Beavers. The Elks have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Beavers, too.

Centerville was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-16, 25-12.

Centerville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hadley Heil, who had 22 digs and three assists. Those 22 digs gave Heil a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reagan Conner, who had nine digs and three aces.

Centerville's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Beavercreek, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centerville will square off against Springboro at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Beavercreek, they will take on Kenton Ridge at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday.
