Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Loara

Loara won the last time they faced Estancia, and Sophia Rangel did her part to make sure it happened again. The Loara Saxons walked away with a 56-43 victory over the Estancia Eagles on Tuesday thanks in part to Rangel, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 25 boards. Her evening made it five games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Dulce Espinoza was another key player, putting up ten points in addition to eight rebounds and seven assists. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in boards.

The win made it two in a row for Loara and bumps their season record up to 8-13. As for Estancia, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Loara will face off against Anaheim at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Estancia, they will square off against Savanna at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
