It was a proper cat-fight when Brookhaven challenged Sumrall on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Bobcats by a score of 21-9. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Jaden Allen was his usual excellent self, rushing for 78 yards and two TDs on only ten carries, while also throwing for 126 yards and one touchdown. Caiden Quarles helped out on the ground, rushing for 87 yards.

Brookhaven didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off nine passes before the game was over. Tanner Hardy led the group effort, picking up three of those interceptions all by himself. He also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with 11. Another thorn in Sumrall's side was Durrell Washington, who picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles.

Brookhaven's record is now 5-2. As for Sumrall, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season.
