Baseball Recap: Dixie Heights Takes a Loss

Dixie Heights lost to Conner back in April and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Colonels fell 7-2 to the Cougars.

Dixie Heights saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Steczynski, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Dixie Heights now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Conner, their record is now 17-14.

Coming up, Dixie Heights will face off against Bullitt Central at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Cougars' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Colonels' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Conner, they will welcome Ross at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
