Baseball Recap: North Mac Has No Trouble Against Auburn

North Mac made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Auburn, but they still couldn't quite topple them. North Mac blew past Auburn 15-5 on Tuesday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 10-1 victory the Trojans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Clark Sanson was excellent, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his five plate appearances. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade McCready, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one run.

North Mac has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

North Mac has already played their next matchup, a 6-0 win against Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia on the 19th. As for Auburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 12-7 victory against Jacksonville on the 21st.
