Volleyball Recap: Pickens County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Pickens County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Holy Spirit Catholic Saints, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Pickens County's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Holy Spirit Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-16 record this season.

Coincidentally, Pickens County and Holy Spirit Catholic will both be playing Gordo the next time they take the court. The Saints will host the Green Wave at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Tornadoes will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
