Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Greenville + How To Watch

Mauldin faced Greenville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Mavericks fell just short of the Red Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Mavericks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Raiders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Mauldin sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 24-26, 25-23, 13-25, 15-11.

The loss snapped Mauldin's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. As for Greenville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.
