Calhoun County is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since December 13, 2024 on Friday. They were beaten by Terrell County 69-40.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Randolph-Clay). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Pataula Charter Academy 78-20. Given the Red Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 197th, while the Panthers are ranked 500th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Calhoun County's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Randolph-Clay, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
