After losing to Deering the last time they met, Thornton Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Thornton Academy Trojans strolled past the Deering Rams with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 67-52. The victory was nothing new for the Trojans as they're now sitting on nine straight.

Thornton Academy's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-2. As for Deering, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-10.
