Softball Game Preview: Kenmore East Bulldogs vs. Maryvale Flyers

The Kenmore East Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the Maryvale Flyers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Kenmore East comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

North Tonawanda hit Kenmore East with a 11-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Bulldogs lost 17-0 to the Lumberjacks.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Maryvale's offense. They came up short against Iroquois on Thursday, falling 15-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Flyers in their meetings with the Redhawks: they've now lost five in a row.

Maryvale's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Kenmore East, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Kenmore East suffered a grim 17-2 defeat to Maryvale in their previous matchup back in May of 2017. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
