Softball Recap: Edsel Ford Drops Season-High Score on Taylor

Edsel Ford had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 0-5 to make it four. They took an 11-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Taylor Griffins. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Thunderbirds' highest-scoring contest to date.

As for Taylor, their victory ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-3. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for they considering their two-run performance the match before.

For Taylor's part, Rochelle Mcadoo ?28 was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those stolen bases marked the first that Mcadoo ?28 has snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Arianna Mckeown ?26, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Looking ahead, Edsel Ford will face off against Crestwood at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Thunderbirds are facing the Chargers at the right time seeing as the Chargers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Taylor, they will take on Carlson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
