Baseball Recap: Magnolia Comes Up Short

Magnolia lost against Lake Hamilton back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Magnolia Panthers fell just short of the Lake Hamilton Wolves by a score of 4-3. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Magnolia has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season. The victory made it two in a row for Lake Hamilton and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Looking ahead, Magnolia will look to defend their home field on Friday against Monticello at 5:00 p.m. As for Lake Hamilton, they will venture away from home to take on Hot Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Lake Hamilton is facing Hot Springs at the right time seeing as Hot Springs is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
