It's playoff time, and Lake Zurich had no trouble coming through when it counted. They breezed past the Grant Community Bulldogs to the tune of 46-13 on Saturday. Considering the Bears have won seven games by more than 20 points this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Despite the loss, Grant Community still got an impressive performance from Max Hembrey, who picked up 137 receiving yards and one touchdown. Hembrey was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 59 yards. Jayrel Conner also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Lake Zurich and bumps their season record up to 8-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 47.5 points over those games. As for Grant Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Coming up, Lake Zurich will be playing in front of their home fans against Antioch at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Grant Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
