Soccer Game Preview: Elmore County vs. Demopolis

The Elmore County Panthers will square off against the Demopolis Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Demopolis took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Elmore County, who comes in off a win.

Elmore County is headed into the contest without a loss and will look to keep things rolling. They blew past Valley 6-1 on Monday. Considering Elmore County have won 11 games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Valley from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Cadi Crews led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matchups, Demopolis finally came back down to earth last Tuesday. They lost 5-0 to Marbury. Demopolis haven't had much luck with Marbury recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Elmore County pushed their record up to 17-0-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those ten contests. As for Demopolis, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
