Soccer Recap: Splendora Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Dekaney, Splendora was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Cleveland Indians a 1-0 shutout. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Splendora's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Cleveland, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Splendora will square off against Summer Creek at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Splendora's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Cleveland, they will be playing at home against Westfield at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
