Ponder has gone 9-0 against Paradise recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Ponder Lions take on the Paradise Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Ponder knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Paradise likes a good challenge.

On Tuesday, Ponder made easy work of Valley View and carried off a 61-35 victory. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Paradise, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They took down Callisburg 59-40 on Tuesday.

Paradise pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27 points. As for Ponder, their victory bumped their record up to 13-9.

Ponder didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Paradise when the teams last played back in March of 2024, but they still walked away with a 28-24 win. Does Ponder have another victory up their sleeve, or will Paradise turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
