Hopkins is 7-1 against Buffalo since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Royals will host the Bison at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Hopkins and seven for Buffalo.

Monday just wasn't the day for Hopkins' offense. They lost 15-0 to Edina on Monday.

Meanwhile, Buffalo came up short against Elk River on Monday and fell 5-2.

Buffalo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alyana Feekes, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Buffalo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Hopkins, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Hopkins came out on top in a nail-biter against Buffalo in their previous matchup two weeks ago, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Royals repeat their success, or do the Bison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
