Basketball Game Preview: Sunnybrook Christian Lions vs. Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors

The Sunnybrook Christian Lions will face off against the Annapolis Christian Academy Warriors at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Sunnybrook Christian has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 12.

It was a proper cat-fight when Sunnybrook Christian duked it out withKIPP Somos Collegiate on Thursday. Sunnybrook Christian lost 48-24 to KIPP Somos Collegiate.

Despite the loss, Sunnybrook Christian got top-tier performance from Rihana Crowl, who posted 15 points and six steals. Crowl has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Davina Crowl was another key player, putting up seven points.

Meanwhile, Annapolis Christian Academy played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against Lifegate Christian, falling 49-21. The Warriors have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Annapolis Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Sunnybrook Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-13.

Sunnybrook Christian came up short against Annapolis Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 29-22. Can Sunnybrook Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
