Basketball Recap: IMG Academy Silver Comes Up Short

IMG Academy Silver came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Hope Academy Trojan and fell 71-39. The Ascenders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-17.

Nehemiah Raphael produced another solid effort shooting 73% from the field on his way to 24 points for Hope Academy. The game was Raphael's fourth in a row with at least 21 points. Xavier Shine was another key player, putting up seven points.

IMG Academy Silver's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Hope Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. IMG Academy Silver will welcome Hollins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hope Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Forest Lake Academy at 7:00 p.m.
