Soccer Recap: New Life Camp Comes Up Short

New Life Camp fell victim to Cary Academy and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, New Life Camp can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 234th, while Cary Academy are ranked 105th).

This is the second loss in a row for New Life Camp and nudges their season record down to 8-6-1. As for Cary Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

New Life Camp will face off against Asheville T at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Cary Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Durham Academy on the 14th.
