Football Recap: Monsignor Pace Comes Up Short Despite Tnarea Mcclain's Big Defensive Game

Monsignor Pace was the 38-0 winner over Doral Academy when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Spartans fell 21-13 to the Firebirds on Thursday. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Although Monsignor Pace took the loss, they still got scores from Imani Davis and Michealla Brun.

Even if they lost, Monsignor Pace's defense still kept up the pressure with six sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Tnarea McClain.

Monsignor Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Doral Academy, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Monsignor Pace has already played their next matchup, a 47-0 loss against Homestead on the 7th. As for Doral Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-6 victory against Pinecrest Prep on the 7th.
