Basketball Game Preview: Magna Vista Warriors vs. Tunstall Trojans

Magna Vista is 2-8 against Tunstall since February of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Magna Vista Warriors will look to defend their home court against the Tunstall Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Wednesday, Magna Vista came up short against McMichael and fell 55-42.

Meanwhile, Tunstall also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Hargrave Military Academy by a score of 77-69. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while the Tigers are ranked 114th).

Tunstall has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.0 points per game. As for Magna Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-13.
