Volleyball Recap: Ellington Extends Winning Streak to Four

Ellington had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. Everything went their way against the Bunker Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The game was the first time the Whippets have beaten the Eagles on their court since September 16, 2021.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Ellington was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-12.

Lilyanah Tisdale paced Ellington's offense, picking up 13 kills. Tisdale got some help from Tayleigh Cowin and her 35 assists. Megan Copeland controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Ellington's win bumped their record up to 28-4-1. As for Bunker, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-20-4.

As of now, neither Ellington nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
