Baseball Recap: Vaughn Takes a Loss

Vaughn came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Chavez Eagles, falling 12-2. The defeat continues a trend for the White Tigers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Vaughn's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Chavez, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

While Vaughn had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
