Basketball Recap: Glenpool Comes Up Short

Glenpool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 51-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stilwell Indians. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Indians are ranked 49th).

Glenpool's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Stilwell, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Glenpool didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-33 defeat against Collinsville on the 20th. Stilwell has also already played their next game, a 58-38 victory against Grove on the 20th.
