Soccer Recap: New Albany Now 10-1 over Last 11 Games

New Albany extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Amory. They came out on top against the Amory Panthers by a score of 2-0. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Panthers back in November of 2024, they had to take a 1-1 defeat.

Lauren Hobson and Kiristen Knox scored both of New Albany's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

New Albany has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up five goals over those 11 contests. As for Amory, with the loss, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-9.

New Albany will square off against Choctaw Central on Saturday. New Albany will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. Amory does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
