Preview: Jamestown Muskies vs. West Middlesex Big Reds
Jamestown is 1-6 against West Middlesex since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Jamestown Muskies will head out on the road to face off against the West Middlesex Big Reds at 7:30 p.m. Jamestown comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Friday, Jamestown was beaten by Mercer 76-30. While losing is never fun, Jamestown can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 629th, while Mercer is ranked 278th).
Meanwhile, West Middlesex's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 85-14 loss at the hands of Farrell. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points West Middlesex has scored all season.
Jamestown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for West Middlesex, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
Jamestown might still be hurting after the 61-37 loss they got from West Middlesex in their previous meeting back in January. Can Jamestown avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
