            Flint Hill dropped their record down to 18-5 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Potomac School Panthers by a score of  6-4. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Huskies of the  5-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2024.
 Flint Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Logan Lucca, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI. Another  was  PJ Lyons, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
As for Potomac School, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games.
 On Potomac School's side,  Owen Taylormoore was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs and two  doubles. Taylormoore is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he posts  at  least two  runs the team is 5-1 (and 5-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Christian Lam, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI and two  doubles.
The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Flint Hill beat Potomac School by a score of  14-5 on Friday.
