Recap: Creekside Seminoles vs. Warner Robins Demons
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Creekside Seminoles had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Demons 35-14. The victory was nothing new for Creekside as they're now sitting on ten straight.
Creekside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shane Kelley, who picked up 130 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Creekside also got a significant boost from Roderick McCrary, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 145 yards.
Creekside's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.5 points per game. As for Warner Robins, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.
Creekside will face off against Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Warner Robins does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
