Georgetown had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.3 points) and they went ahead and made it nine on Friday. They claimed a resounding 64-23 victory over the LaSalle Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-35 two weeks ago.

Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for LaSalle, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Georgetown will venture away from home to take on Monterey at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for LaSalle, they will challenge Caldwell Parish at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
