Softball Recap: Baldwin Find Success

While Baldwin's victory against Floral Park Memorial wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bruins skirted past the Knights 9-8. The win continues a trend for the Bruins in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.

Liv Pascual made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched seven innings while giving up three earned (and five unearned) runs off ten hits. Pascual was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Amanda Aguiluz was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Lilly Duet was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

Baldwin was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They are 4-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Baldwin's victory bumped their record up to 5-6.

Baldwin didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Wheatley on the 30th. Floral Park Memorial does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
