Football Recap: Midd-West Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Midd-West's offense. They were outmatched by the Mifflinburg Wildcats and fell 62-0. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Witten Carter threw for 59 yards on nine of 23 attempts. Konnor Kullman was his top target, picking up 37 receiving yards.

Midd-West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Mifflinburg, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Midd-West will welcome Holy Redeemer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Mifflinburg, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lewisburg at 7:00 p.m.
