Volleyball Recap: Lamar Consolidated Mustangs vs. Fort Bend Kempner Cougars
After flying high against Tomas on Friday, Lamar Consolidated came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell just short of the Fort Bend Kempner Cougars by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.
While Lamar Consolidated ultimately came up short, they really made Fort Bend Kempner work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 10-25, 25-13, 22-25, 15-6.
