Preview: Medford vs. Everett
Medford had trouble last Friday, and unfortunately for them, their opponent this week is a big step up in difficulty. They will challenge Everett on the road at Everett Veterans Memorial Stadium at 7:00 PM on Friday. Medford are the clear underdogs, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
Medford didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 21-27 to Revere.
Meanwhile, Everett put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put the hurt on Boston College High with a sharp 34-10 victory. The win was familiar territory for Everett, who now have five in a row.
Everett's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Medford's defeat dropped them down to 1-4. We'll find out if Everett can add another positive mark to their record or if Medford can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Everett's step.
