Preview: Jackson vs. Hialeah-Miami Lakes
On Thursday, Hialeah-Miami Lakes are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Jackson at Hialeah Miami Lakes at 3:30 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Hialeah-Miami Lakes, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-48, which was the final score in Hialeah-Miami Lakes's tilt against Palmetto last Friday.
Meanwhile, Jackson was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge last week, breezing past Mourning 53-0. The margin was wide but not a surprise since Jackson are ranked far ahead of Mourning in the MaxPreps rankings.
Jackson's win lifted them to 2-0 while Hialeah-Miami Lakes's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll find out if Jackson can add another positive mark to their record or if Hialeah-Miami Lakes can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Jackson's step.
