North Penn snaps three-game streak of losses at home

Recap: North Penn Knights vs. Neshaminy Skins

The North Penn Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They snuck past Neshaminy with a 73-67 victory. The win was a breath of fresh air for North Penn as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Neshaminy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Guy Horton, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds. That's the first time this season that Horton scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Nate Townsend, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.

Even though they lost, Neshaminy were working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

North Penn's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for Neshaminy, they bumped their record down to 6-6 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Penn will take on Council Rock North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Neshaminy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pennridge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
