Kennedale had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 33.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Venus Bulldogs with a sharp 78-54 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 22 points or more this season.

Kennedale's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Venus, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-14.

Coincidentally, Kennedale and Venus will both be playing Ferris the next time they take the court. Venus will head out to face Ferris at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Kennedale will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 21st.
