Basketball Game Preview: Los Angeles CES Unicorns vs. Westchester Comets

Los Angeles CES hasn't had much luck against Westchester recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Los Angeles CES Unicorns will host the Westchester Comets at 4:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Los Angeles CES is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 60 points back in December of 2024, they were much more limited against Fairfax on Monday. They had to suffer through a 64-24 loss at the hands of the Lions.

Meanwhile, Westchester entered their contest against Hamilton on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. 2025 welcomed Westchester with a 69-48 loss courtesy of Hamilton.

Los Angeles CES now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Westchester, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-4.

Los Angeles CES might still be hurting after the 72-48 loss they got from Westchester when the teams last played back in January of 2024. Can Los Angeles CES avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
