Soccer Recap: Peabody Comes Up Short

Peabody lost against Madison back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Golden Tide lost 6-0 to the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Peabody can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 252nd, while Madison are ranked 64th).

Peabody dropped their record down to 4-5-2 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Madison, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1-1.

Peabody does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Madison, they will take on Milan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Milan's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
