Baseball Recap: Camp Verde Comes Up Short

Camp Verde lost against Fountain Hills back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cowboys lost 12-2 to the Falcons. The Cowboys have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Camp Verde saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Deegan Rodriquez, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Camp Verde's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Fountain Hills, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5-1.

Coming up, Camp Verde will face off against Horizon Honors at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Fountain Hills, they will head out to square off against Scottsdale Christian Academy at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Falcons surely won't give up without a fight.
