Volleyball Recap: Franklin Heights Takes a Loss

Franklin Heights lost against Bishop Ready back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Falcons came up short against the Silver Knights, falling 3-0. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-13, 25-8.

Jalynn Ward paced Franklin Heights' offense, picking up four kills. Ward got some help from Meily Reyes and her ten assists.

Among those leading the charge was Sophia Dozer, who had 11 digs and four assists. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she's played.

Franklin Heights' loss dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Bishop Ready, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-2.

Franklin Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Ready, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against North Union on the 11th.
