            Baseball Recap: Titusville Rockets vs. Warren Dragons        
        
		
        
        
            Titusville hadn't done well against Warren recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Friday. Titusville had just enough and edged out Warren  14-13. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Rockets have posted  since April 19, 2024.

The team  relied heavily on  Ian McDonald, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-5. Those  three  runs gave  him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brody Sellen, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Titusville was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .472. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warren only posted a  batting average of  .241.
Titusville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
 Coming up, Titusville will be playing in front of their home fans against Corry  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Warren, they will head out on the road to  challenge  St. Marys  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday.
