Baseball Recap: Elberta Comes Up Short

Elberta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Crestview Bulldogs, falling 13-3.

Elberta's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Crestview, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Elberta will face off against Daphne at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Crestview, they will venture away from home to square off against Choctawhatchee at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.8, the Indians 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
