Basketball Recap: Karns City Comes Up Short

Karns City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They received a blow as they fell 69-52 to the Cranberry Area Berries. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Berries this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-63 back in December of 2024.

Karns City's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Cranberry Area, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Karns City does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Cranberry Area, they will venture away from home to take on Brookville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
