Putnam County had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They beat the Tri-County Mustangs by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-2. The Midgets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Putnam County's win bumped their record up to 8-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam County will host Maysville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tri-County, they will be playing at home against Green City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
