Basketball Recap: Bishop Kelley Takes a Loss

Bishop Kelley came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They took a blow against the Booker T. Washington Hornets, falling 66-30. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Hornets are ranked sixth).

Bishop Kelley's loss came despite strong showings from Caroline Rabb and Kennedy Wray. Rabb posted nine points, while Wray earned six points.

Bishop Kelley's loss dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Booker T. Washington, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 20-2.

Bishop Kelley has already played their next match, a 64-30 win against East Central on the 14th. As for Booker T. Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 74-39 victory against Claremore on the 14th.
