Volleyball Game Preview: Madison West Regents vs. Verona Wildcats + How To Watch

Madison West is 0-10 against Verona since October of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m.

Madison West lost 3-0 to Middleton on Tuesday.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-19, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Verona entered their tilt with Madison Memorial on Tuesday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Spartans. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Wildcats have posted since September 13th.

Verona got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 24-26, 23-25, 32-30, 15-10.

Verona's win bumped their record up to 24-5. As for Madison West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-25.

Madison West suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Verona when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Regents avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
